Part 00
Frames
Sunlight spills in through the arched windows, and the scent of roses carries from the gardens outside— what a lovely day to admire the members of the Court of Crows!
Part 01
Funny Flowers
You hear a faint laughter bouncing through the castle halls! A smile spreads across your face, though you know not the source of the mirth.
Part 02
Court Jester
You walk through the castle halls in search of the laughter— and there, in a side room, you find a joyous jester! The bells on his outfit twinkle and rattle softly as he juggles and dances for his clapping audience.
Part 03
Left Torch
Under the clapping, however, you hear a sound— a sharp CAWWW, echoing through the castle. A torch to your left flickers in a breeze that's slightly chillier than before.
Part 04
Peaceful Banner
A banner decorates the hall to your left— a sharp talon, gently carrying a rose. A symbol of the court's peaceful reign.
Part 05
Ominous Flowers
You continue to follow the echoing CAWWW that's bouncing through the halls... Though the sound seems innocent enough, a shiver runs down your spine.
Part 06
Court Advisor
The call leads to a shadowed room, and you peek through the cracked door. It's said that the wizened Court Advisor can see into the future— just don't mind his nonsense ramblings, and don't look directly into those blind eyes.
Part 07
Right Torch
You shut the door with a nervous laugh, leaving the advisor to his ruminations. A torch to your right flares with the slight air movement.
Part 08
Baneful Banner
A banner hangs at the end of the hall— A testament to times of war. The crow sovereigns rule with fairness and goodwill, but they aren't afraid to show their talons in defense of their kingdom!
Part 09
Lovely Flowers
You suddenly smell the sweetest of scents— a delicate waft of the loveliest roses. It dances invisibly on the now-warm breeze.
Part 10
Crow Princess
You pass a brightly lit gallery— and there sits the Crow Princess, painting a stunning landscape filled with flowers. She blushes shyly as you peek into the room, and quickly goes back to her work.
Part 11
Artifact Shelf
You decide to make your way to the throne room— You have an audience scheduled, after all! You walk past a shelf of artifacts: odes to ancestors, and tomes containing the wisdom of the royal family.
Part 12
Gentle Flowers
You're almost to the throne room. Gentle roses peek at you through the sunlit arched windows down the main hall, filling your heart with comfort and calm.
Part 13
Crow King
You swing open the giant doors of the throne room— and find yourself face to face with the King Crow. The glint in his eye is calm and kind as you offer him a respectful bow.
Part 14
Ceremonial Sword
Your footsteps echo off the walls of the throne room as you walk down the long red carpet. A gilded ceremonial sword is mounted beside the throne.
Part 15
Powerful Flowers
The throne is a beautifully carved wooden artifact, clearly passed down through generations of the royal family. Roses climb their way up the sides, as if embracing the seat. And in this throne of incredible beauty sits...
Part 16
Crow Queen
The Crow Queen's beauty is surpassed in intensity only by the power she exudes. She nods her head in acknowledgment of you. She hands you a sweet-smelling bloom from her throne. Congratulations— You've met the entire revered Court of Crows!
